Selection Process
The recruitment selection involves the following stages:
1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
This objective exam consists of 100 questions on reasoning, general knowledge/current affairs, numerical ability, and computer fundamentals. The duration is 90 minutes. There is a 0.25 mark penalty for every wrong answer. General category candidates need a minimum of 35% marks to qualify (lower for reserved categories).
2. Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test (PE & MT)
Candidates who qualify in the written exam must pass physical fitness tests like running, long jump, high jump, and measurement checks (height and chest). This ensures candidates have the physical ability to perform police duties.
3. Document Verification
Qualified candidates need to verify all original documents, including educational certificates, identity proofs, and category certificates.
4. Medical Examination
